 Michael Varga – CEO
Michael is co-founder and leads the business development strategy and is responsible for its implementation. Prior to founding Tandel Systems, Mike was an executive with Honeywell Space Systems for 22 years. Mike was Director of Growth and Portfolio Management, responsible for growth strategies, M&A and R&D budgets for a $500M a year business. Prior to this, Mike was Director of Commercial Systems Operations, an entrepreneurial organization that grew very rapidly within the Space Systems Division. Mike also held successive engineering positions, culminating with the position of Chief Engineer for Honeywell’s Avionics and Control Systems Division in Clearwater, Florida. He was actively involved in the development and deployment of various avionics integrated systems for NASA’s Shuttle and Space Station Programs. |
 Pablo Santa Cruz – CFO & COO
Pablo is responsible for the company’s strategic, operational, and financial direction and performance. Pablo has successfully built and managed companies in the Information Systems, Application Software, Applied Technology, Health Care, Specialty Distribution, Telecommunications, International Logistics, E-Commerce, and Financial Service industries over the past twenty years. He is Chairman and CEO of Topview – an Investment and Business Management company, Chairman of Grupo Santa Cruz – an Investments Holding Company and Charitable Foundation, and Founder and Director of NorthStar Banking Corporation. |
 Kim Vogel – Vice President of Engineering
Kim is co-founder and is responsible for all product and project development, quality, and budget. Kim also sets and drives the vision for Tandel’s product strategy. Previously, Kim served as Vice President of Operations and Engineering for Tritheim Technologies/PublicCARD, a smart card and applications company that he founded in 1995. During his tenure at Tritheim, he was chief architect of Tritheim’s product line. Kim has been awarded numerous patents from the United States Patent Office in connection with his work. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University. |
 Vince Poole – VP of Technical Services
Vince manages Tandel’s Responsive Engineering division which provides engineering services and solutions to the Aerospace, Defense and Government markets. He is responsible for customer relationships, contract management, staffing and project execution. Prior to joining Tandel he was the Vice President for Digital Rights Management at Publicard. He has also held various engineering positions at Honeywell’s Space Division in Clearwater, FL. Vince graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Master’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Business Administration. |
 Jon Bayless – Vice President of Business Development
Rear Admiral Jon Bayless USN (Ret) is responsible for further developing our customer base while increasing sales. Prior to joining Tandel Systems, Jon led organizations and activities for up to 20,000 people in the areas of senior operations and program management, holding positions as Commander for the Navy’s Midwest Region, Commander, Harbor Defense Forces Western Pacific, and Commanding Officer of Patrol Squadron Sixty-Six. He has also flown as an AIRBUS 320 Captain for Northwest Airlines. Jon retired from active duty in late 2009, following his assignment at the Pentagon as the Deputy Chief, Navy Reserve. Jon is a Naval Academy graduate and has attended numerous service related schools including the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California. He serves on the Board for the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Tampa Hillsborough County Economic Development Corporation, the US Navy Memorial Foundation in Washington DC, and is an advisor to the Celestar Corporation. |
 Michael Cox, Vice President of Program Management
Michael is responsible for ensuring program management success while implementing agile processes. Prior to joining Tandel, Mr. Cox held various positions within Lockheed Martin Corporation. Most recently, he was the director of corporate program performance. In these positions, Mr. Cox managed 7000+ control account managers and deployed a corporate wide training course to drive improved program performance and government compliance. Mr. Cox was also the director of operations and a Lean Black Belt Subject Matter Expert engineer. Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering. |
